Job summary

Vector Construction, a Structural Group Company, seeks an experienced Journeyman Carpenter to join our Winnipeg team. You will contribute to concrete repair, restoration, and general carpentry on commercial projects.

The role requires active Journeyman or Red Seal status, willingness to perform concrete work, and the ability to lift 50 lb. You’ll work with safety-first teams, travel to sites as needed, and benefit from a competitive salary, health and dental coverage, RRSP matching, and tuition

Qualifications

• Active Journeyman or Red Seal Carpenter required.
• Willing to perform non-carpentry tasks including concrete work.
• Understanding of construction equipment, tools and materials.
• Some travel may be required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights and near water.
• Reliable transportation to sites.

• Advanced carpentry tasks
• Concrete repair
• Concrete demolition
• Concrete placement and finishing
• Light Formwork

Job Requirements

• Must be an active Journeyman or Red Seal Carpenter
• Willing to complete other task other than carpentry; including concrete work, membrane application, etc.
• Understanding of construction equipment, tools and materials
• Some travel may be required
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Comfortable working at heights as some projects may require man lifts or scaffold systems.
• Comfortable working on or around water as some projects may require this.
• Reliable transportation to travel to and from project sites
