Job Description

The carpenter constructs and maintains buildings. Key knowledge includes construction practices, tools, materials, blueprints, safety, and quality control. Proficiency in tasks like hanging doors, setting windows, layout work, formwork, and estimating materials is required.

Qualifications
  • Ticketed Journeyperson or Registered Apprentice
  • Experience with large general contractors
  • Current in the trade
  • Knowledge of carpentry, safety, and equipment operation
  • First aid and CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license and clean abstract preferred
  • Willing to work out of town and on afternoon/evening shifts
  • Pre-employment medical required
