Job summary

Bridges Chevrolet in North Battleford, SK is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, test and repair vehicle systems, reserve to RO standards, and mentor apprentices. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspect brakes, fuel systems and engines, and document work clearly on each repair order.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of various makes and models.
• Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate required or in process.
• Red Seal certification is an asset.
• Post-secondary program or training completed or in progress.
• Professional demeanor with strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Valid driver\'s license and clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance per RO standards with efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate with Parts and Service Advisors to manage repairs and customer communication.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend repairs for safety and reliability.
• Document all work on the repair order in OEM-compliant manner.
• Maintain an inventory of common tools not normally inventoried by the service department.
• Stay current with factory bulletins and participate in training.
• Provide an exceptional repair experience to drive customer loyalty and department revenue.
