Dartmouth Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking Journeyman Automotive Technicians and 3rd Year Apprentices to join our service team in Dartmouth, NS. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of vehicle systems with OEM standards and safety in mind.

We offer a tailored pay plan totaling $60,000 to $95,000 annually, with a $5,000 signing bonus discussed. A 3-month baseline with guaranteed hours, plus opportunities for growth, reflect our commitment to skilled technicians and apprentices alike.

Qualifications

• Must hold a provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate (Red Seal) or be in process.
• Related post-secondary program completion or training is required.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills are essential.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history is required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, test, and repair vehicle systems to OEM standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspect critical components.
• Mentor apprentices and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
• Communicate with Parts and Service Advisors to manage repairs and timelines.
• Document work on repair orders with clear, OEM-compliant notes.
