Alstar Group is seeking skilled pipefitters for long-term roles at the Fulton Yard in Calgary. The position focuses on safe, high-quality pressure welds, with opportunities for career growth in a team-driven shop environment.

You bring journeyman or advanced apprenticeship credentials, CSO and WHMIS 2015, plus hands-on modular yard experience in pipefitting and assembly. Ready to work in a busy facility with varied outdoor/indoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Pipefitter Ticket or 4th Year Apprentice Ticket required.
• CSO and WHMIS 2015 certifications required.
• Hands-on modular yard experience with pipefitting and assembly skills.
• Ability to work in a large facility alongside multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipefitting and assembly tasks in the modular yard (mod yard).
• Work safely in indoor and outdoor manufacturing areas with the shop crew.
• Support quality and efficiency through collaboration and attention to detail.

• Weekday Days: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

What You Bring to the Team

• Valid Certifications: Journeyman Pipefitter Ticket or 4th Year Apprentice Ticket, CSO, and WHMIS 2015.
• Trade Expertise: Hands-on modular yard (mod yard) experience with strong pipefitting and assembly skills.
• Working Capabilities: Comfortable working in a large manufacturing facility alongside other trades in both indoor and outdoor conditions; capable of handling physically demanding tasks.
• Precision & Safety: Strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the shop crew.
