The Canadian Light Source Inc. is seeking a Journeyperson Electrician to maintain and install electrical systems. This full-time position offers a starting salary of $80,237 and includes a comprehensive benefits package. Journey Person Electrician (Electrical Technologist)
The Canadian Light Source Inc. (CLSI) is a national research facility of the University of Saskatchewan. CLS produces very bright light to explore the nature and structure of molecules, and serves national and international users from academia, industry, and government institutions.
CLSI is now accepting applications for a Journeyperson Electrician (Electrical Technologist). Reporting to the Electrical Operations Lead, the Electrical Technologist is responsible for the installation, repair, test and maintenance of wiring, controls, motors and other electrical devices within theCLS Facility.
Remuneration:This position falls within the scope of the Unifor Local 609 Collective Agreement. The annual starting salary for this position will be $80,237. A comprehensive benefits package including supplemental health & dental, life insurance, pension plan (8% matching contribution by employer), health spending account ($250 per calendar year), three weeks’ vacation, and Scheduled Days Off is all part of our competitive compensation package. Hours of work for this position will be Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
