Job summary

Richardson Wealth Limited is seeking a Journey Analyst to support a transformation program, combining market and user research with journey optimization and agile delivery to create a seamless digital experience for clients and advisors. You will partner with journey owners to articulate vision, map needs, and drive value delivery.

The role requires 2 years’ experience as journey or business analyst and a degree in Business or Marketing, with strong coordination across stakeholders in a wealth

Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience as journey analyst or business analyst in a business context.
  • Understanding of the Wealth Management industry and regulatory environment.
  • A passion for client and advisor experience, with concrete achievements.
  • Ability to understand and analyze client and advisor needs with an overall process view.
  • Strong coordination across multiple stakeholders and departments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with journey owner and product owner to translate business concepts into technical language.
  • Supports defining and documenting optimized journeys.
  • Organizes and facilitates program increment planning (PI planning).
  • Defines value definitions and acceptance criteria for stories.
  • Works with IT to obtain delivery estimates and team commitments.
  • Defines optimized journeys for next iterations of epics and features.
  • Assists in creating acceptance criteria for ATDD.
  • Provides business context to requirements definition and validation.
  • Facilitates delivery of incremental business value.
  • Decomposes business needs into epics, features, and stories.

Position Overview:

Richardson Wealth Management is on a transformation journey and want to develop and implement an industry-changing digital strategy that will enable the firm to deliver an unmatched, seamless digital experience for clients and advisors and find new ways to serve clients, integrate digital touchpoints and channels to improve operational efficiencies and attract the next generation of client, advisor and employee with flexible options for engagement.

As Journey Analyst, you will support the Journey owners with market and user research, journey optimization (e.g. experience redesign), journey orchestration and agile delivery and execution.

Strategy / Value Focus

– Partners withthe journey owners and key stakeholders to articulate journey vision; documents problem / opportunity and broader context; defines the desired future states using outcomes as measures of success and with a strong focus on experience and value delivery

Business Needs Discovery, Visualization, and Validation

– Collaborates with journey owners and other stakeholders to identify business needs; captures / presents business needs as journey mapsand visualized requirements

Stakeholder Engagement / Communication

– Identifies stakeholders and ensures they are actively providing necessary inputs to teams

Knowledge Centre for the Team

– Acts as the team’s central point for business /experience knowledge and ensures UX Designers, Process Engineers, Product Owners and other team members have necessary information and knowledge to complete their activities

Collaboration Facilitator

– Engages the right set of staff within the team based on desired goals to facilitate collaborative working sessions

Proactive Issue Identification –

– self-organizes around risks / issues / blockers; raises them as soon as they are identified or appear

Continuous Improvement Support

– Practices continuous improvement and is on the constant lookout for opportunities; provides and adapts to continuous feedback positively

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Works in collaboration withthe journey owner and the product owner to table to translate business concepts into easy-to-understand technical language
  • Supports the journey owner in defining and documenting the optimized journeys
  • Works in collaboration with the journey owner to organize and facilitate program increment planning (PI planning)
  • Helps the Journey Owner define and own the value definition of the Epis and acceptance criteria of the stories
  • Collaborates with the IT delivery team to enable them to provide a delivery estimate for user stories to gain a team commitment
  • Works ahead of the delivery team to define optimized journeys for next iterations of epics and features
  • Helps in acceptance criteria creation in a format that supports Acceptance Test Driven Development
  • Provides discipline, rigor, and business context to the requirements definition and validation process
  • Is an effective facilitator for delivery team to deliver incremental units of business value
  • Can decompose and describe business needs as epics and features while enabling incremental delivery
  • Can visualize business needs / requirements as epics, features and stories
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to complete required artifacts
Education and Experience:
  • 2 years' experience as journey analyst or business analyst in a business context
  • Understanding of the Wealth Management industry and regulatory environment
  • A passion for client and advisor experience, with concrete achievements
  • An excellent capacity to understand and analyze client and advisor needs, with an overall view of related processes
  • Strong coordination skills across multiple stakeholders and departments
  • Able to work in complex environments and in the context of transformation, with multiple stakeholders
  • Degree in Business or Marketing

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $60,500-$70,200.

The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, and the consideration of internal equity.
