Are you a reliable and detail-oriented bookkeeper looking for a flexible, long-term role in a professional setting? My client in the commercial real estate industry is looking for someone with strong general accounting experience—property management experience is not required, but familiarity with Sage 300 (or similar software) is a big asset.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on, hybrid bookkeeping role where you’ll manage payables, receivables, reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting. The team is small and collaborative, and they’re happy to train the right person from outside the industry.

What You’ll Do:
Accounts Payable (60%)
  • Pay rent and expenses from trust accounts
Accounts Receivable (20%)
  • Oversee rent and fee collection
  • Support CAM reconciliations
  • Assist with budgets and forecasting
  • Prepare monthly financial statements
  • Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
  • Assist with annual audit preparation
Admin & Support (10%)
  • Organize and maintain financial files
What You Bring:
  • 2–4 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Sage 300 (or similar software)
  • Good Excel and Word skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solid communication and organizational abilities
