Jobs (Calgary and Edmonton): Musical Theatre and Dance Instructors – Puddle of Mud Productions

Puddle of Mud Productions is looking for dance and musical theatre instructors to join our roster!

We are seeking individuals excited about teaching mostly ages 10 and under in a creative, energetic and positive environment in the Calgary and Edmonton area.

Our programs include winter sessions, birthday parties and special events, with the possibility of ongoing work. Recreational classes typically run in 6-12 week sessions in a number of disciplines.

Responsibilities may include planning and delivering high-quality recreational dance and/or musical theatre instruction, maintaining a positive classroom culture, communicating with families, and contributing to program development.

Qualifications • Background in dance and/or musical theatre.
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for working with children.
• Teaching experience is ideal; a passion for the arts and children is essential. We offer mentorship and training for suitable candidates.

Compensation and schedule
Starting wage is $25-$30/hour depending on experience. Flexibility to take on as many or as few classes as you like, with locations around Calgary and Edmonton.

Availability In the immediate term we are seeking a musical theatre instructor for Friday nights in Calgary and Monday and Thursday nights in Edmonton, starting as early as next week.
