Job Posting : Employment and Housing Manager

The Council for Canada’s Settlement Initiative is seeking two (2) experienced Employment and Housing Managers, located in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, or Toronto.

This role focuses on effective sourcing and utilization of housing and jobs. The successful candidate will be responsible for project management, cultivating stakeholder relations, employment partnerships/sourcing, housing coordination, and managing contractual agreements.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in facilitating the resettlement of refugee families. Responsibilities include assessing the employment and housing landscape to identify and develop relationships with recruiters, employers, and landlords to encourage participation in our program, which aims to provide job opportunities and housing to families seeking to improve their livelihoods.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in employer recruitment and/or housing acquisition, relationship management, and a passion for helping others succeed. The Council seeks a detail-oriented, skilled communicator who can project manage, leverage, coordinate, and work effectively with a team of volunteers to lead employment and housing growth and acquisition strategies.
