Qualifications

Job description

We are currently looking for a Level 1 Support Technician to join our support team. This position reports to the Broadcast Support Manager .

Responsibilities
  • Handle incident or request tickets and provide a high level of assistance to our clients’ technical teams
  • Provide Level 1 technical support, follow up, and ensure the proper resolution of technical incidents
  • Work closely with software developers, project/product managers, and other technical teams
  • Use various monitoring and reporting tools such as Tableau to identify and resolve issues
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation (Jira, Confluence)
Minimum Requirements
  • Technical certification or an AEC diploma in computer science (or equivalent work experience)
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in an equivalent position
  • Basic knowledge of Linux (CentOS)
  • Experience with a ticketing system such as JIRA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills
Nice-to-haves
  • Written and verbal communication in Spanish
  • Basic knowledge of audio and video encoding tools such as ffmpeg
  • Understanding of the technical aspects of audio and video profiles
