Summary of Duties

Reports to Supervisor, Golf Operations. Operates equipment for golf course maintenance, including mowing, turf care, irrigation system repairs, and groundskeeping. Primary location is Chedoke / King’s Forest Golf Course, with occasional travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair irrigation systems
• Operate heavy machinery and tools
• Perform turf maintenance and groundskeeping
• Inspect and report on grounds conditions
• Operate vehicles and perform minor repairs
• Follow health and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Experience in golf course maintenance
• Valid Ontario Landscape Exterminator Licence or Sprayer Technician Certification
• Experience with irrigation systems and heavy equipment operation
• Valid Class "DZ" Driver’s Licence
• Knowledge of golf rules and safety regulations

Additional Information

• 40 hours per week
• Some responsibilities in Roads Operations & Maintenance for Winter Control
