Summary of Duties

The position reports to the Project Manager – Sustainable Mobility Programs and involves leading a team to deliver and monitor programs related to sustainable mobility, including Open Streets programming, street closures, events like Bike Month, and more.

Responsibilities include project and program management, public engagement, policy development, event planning, outreach, data analysis, coordination with stakeholders, and supporting various transportation and mobility initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Equivalent to a three-year community college diploma in Engineering or Geography / Environment Studies; a university degree or relevant experience is preferred.
  • Experience in sustainable mobility, transportation demand management, event planning, marketing, and policy analysis, especially related to Open Streets programs.
  • Knowledge of engineering, planning, project management, and related trends.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ArcGIS, CAD, Adobe tools, and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, handle multiple tasks, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Possession of a Class G Driver’s license is beneficial but not required.

Salary : Grade K

Note : Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
