TalentWorld is recruiting a Food Production Associate (Overnight) in Northeast Calgary, Alberta for one of our partners.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with food manufacturing/packaging tasks (assembly, labeling, machine operation, etc.).
  • Follow production guidelines to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Inspect products and report defects or issues to supervisors.
  • Follow GMP, sanitation, allergen control, and PPE requirements.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including LOTO procedures.
  • Keep work areas clean and sanitized throughout the shift.
  • Dispose of waste properly and follow sanitation schedules.
  • Support line changeovers, setups, and end-of-shift cleanup.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
  • Attend safety/quality meetings and follow break schedules.
  • Respect visitor/contractor policies on-site.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Class 5 driver’s license and own vehicle (asset)
  • Experience with food processing/packaging equipment (preferred)
  • 1+ year in food manufacturing or warehouse (asset)
  • Food Safety or OSHA certification (a plus)
  • Knowledge of sanitation and allergen control protocols
  • Experience in regulated environments (FDA, USDA, SQF) is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and adaptability
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8-hour shifts
  • Available Mon–Friday, Various shifts
  • Must pass background check
  • Able to start next business day
Employment Details
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
    • Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM -$19/HR + $1.00/HR Shift Premium
    • (Note: Fixed shifts, not rotating)
  • Location: Northeast Calgary, Alberta
  • Type: Contract with potential for extension or permanent placement
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Pay: Weekly pay
  • Work Environment: Onsite
