Job description

TalentWorld’s client in Newmarket is at the forefront of custom steel fabrication, turning raw metal into precision-driven structures. We're looking for First Class Fitter/Welders to join a team that creates high-quality, complex steel products. If you have a passion for welding and fitting and are ready to make a tangible impact, this is the perfect opportunity!

  • Manage custom projects with minimal oversight, ensuring on-time, quality delivery
  • Interpret engineering drawings to fabricate various custom structures with precision
  • Expertly handle fabrication tools and machinery to build large-scale structures
  • Ensure precision welding and fitting in accordance with industry standards and tight tolerances
  • Safely operate welding machinery and tools, while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; CWB Certification and/or Trade Certification preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of fitting experience with advanced-level fitting skills
  • Proficient in SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and air carbon arc gouging
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols with accuracy
  • Forklift or Crane Certification would be a definite asset
  • Pay Rate: $20- $25per hour (depending on experience)
  • Weekly Pay: Always accurate and on time
  • Safe Work Environment: We prioritize your safety

Shifts:

  • Day Shift: Monday to Thursday – 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, Friday – 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
  • Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday – 4:00 pm to 3:30 am (premium pay available for afternoon shifts)
