Theatre Network in Edmonton is seeking a dedicated, experienced Business Development Coordinator to work with the Artistic Director/Executive Director. The role focuses on fund development, event planning, and administration, including contracts and budget management, with some shared facility management tasks.

Salary will be based on experience. The position offers three weeks of paid vacation and extended health benefits, with variable hours including some weekends and evenings.

Formación

• Experience in fund development including sponsorship, fundraising and grants.
• Excellent written and communications skills; ability to work in a dynamic team.
• Management experience and knowledge of business operations.

Responsabilidades

• Fund development (sponsorship, fundraising and grants), event planning (e.g., annual spring fundraiser) and administration (contract generation and budget management) with some facility management responsibilities shared with Operations Manager.
• Collaborate with leadership to grow Theatre Network’s reach and rebuild efforts at the Roxy site, maintain budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.

Seeking Dedicated, Experienced, and Hard-working Individual for Full-time Position.

About Theatre Network: Theatre Network has a 41-year history of serving Edmonton theatregoers and offers a three-show Mainstage season focusing on the finest in contemporary world theatre. TN’s programming also includes original commissioned works by Alberta Playwrights, Nextfest – a multi-disciplinary festival of emerging professional artists, and the Roxy Performance Series which features a wide range of professional theatre and emerging theatre companies. Theatre Network has taken up temporary residence at the newly named Roxy on Gateway at 8529 Gateway Blvd. in Edmonton after TN’s previous home, The Roxy Theatre, was destroyed by fire.

About the Position: The Business Development Coordinator works alongside and reports to Theatre Network’s Artistic Director/Executive Director. Theatre Network has a strong team and is looking for the Business Development Coordinator to focus on:

• Fund development (sponsorship, fundraising and grants), event planning (like our annual spring-time fundraiser), and administration (including contract generation and management of budgets) with some facility management responsibilities (shared with the Operations Manager).
• The successful applicant will have management experience, excellent written and communications skills, knowledge of business operations, and will be comfortable working in a dynamic, relaxed and team-based atmosphere.

This is a position of potential growth as Theatre Network strives to rebuild where the Roxy Theatre once stood on 124 Street in Edmonton.

This is a permanent, full-time position. Salary will be based on experience. Position includes three weeks of paid vacation and extended health benefits. Variable hours including some weekends and evenings will be required. Theatre Network is an equal-opportunity employer.
