Job summary

Laframboise Group in Long Sault, Ontario is seeking a Job Costing Clerk to maintain the cost documentation for construction projects. You will establish and manage both physical and electronic filing systems, categorize and retrieve documents, and support Project Managers with timely updates.

The role requires an Accounting college diploma or 2 years of relevant experience, strong English skills, and proficiency with MS 365 and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Possess a college diploma in Accounting or 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage concurrent contracts and projects.
• Proficient at analyzing, managing, and administering contract documentation.
• Strong command of the English language; French/Spanish an asset.
• Strong working knowledge of MS 365 Office, SharePoint and other advanced office technology.
• Ability to work in a safe manner, and in compliance with Ontario WHSA.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining a physical and electronic system of documents related to the costs of a construction worksite.

• Perform general office administrative functions.
• Provide invaluable support to the Project Managers and their team.
• Ensuring health & safety policies and provincial health and safety regulations are understood and followed.

• Providing verbal and written project status updates and reports.
• Performing other duties as required.

• Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm
• Some overtime may be required at times

Skills & Experience

• Proficient at analyzing, managing, and administering contract documentation.
• Possess a strong command of the English language, both written and oral (French / Spanish would be an asset).

• Ability to work in a safe manner, and in conjunction with the Ontario Workplace Safety and Health Act.
