An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Job Coach for their Summer Employment Transitions program. This role involves empowering participants with disabilities by helping them find meaningful employment opportunities while providing mentorship and support. POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Coordinator of Employment Supports, Job Coach – Summer Employment Transitions provides assistance to participants of the Summer Employment Transitions program; seeks out paid employment opportunities with local businesses for participants with a disability; offers a peer role-model relationship with participants; promotes practices and conditions that ensure the health and safety of participants; and promotes Community Living Sarnia-Lambton to the community. This position commences June 2, 2025 and ends August 15, 2025.

To be eligible, youth must:
*The youth must be 15 years of age at the beginning of the employment period. The youth may be more than 30 years of age at the end of the employment period as long as the youth was 30 at the beginning of the employment period.
**International students are not eligible participants. As the objective of the CSJ program is to support youth entering the Canadian labour market, the temporary nature of an international student's time in Canada does not allow for a long-term connection to the labour market.
International students include anyone who is temporarily in Canada for studies and who is not a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada. Youth awaiting a refugee status ruling, as well as those who hold a temporary visitor visa, youth visa or work visa are ineligible.
