Artists Collective Theatre is seeking a Stage Manager for its touring production of Haunted House Hamlet, adapted and written by Peter Eliot Weiss. Haunted House Hamlet is directed by Amanda Liz Cutting.

The Stage Manager must be available for daytime rehearsals and willing to participate in our Western Canadian tour. Accommodations will be provided for out-of-town performances, and compensation will be provided to cast and crew on the tour.

Qualifications

• Experience in stage management is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate a Western Canadian tour.
• Willingness to alternate between daytime rehearsals and performances.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate daytime rehearsals for Haunted House Hamlet.
• Support touring production logistics across Western Canada.
• Collaborate with directors and designers for stage needs.
• Accommodate performers during out-of-town performances.

Artists Collective Theatre is looking for a Stage Manager and for their touring production of Haunted House Hamlet, adapted and written by Peter Eliot Weiss. Haunted House Hamlet is directed by Amanda Liz Cutting.

Stage Manager MUST be available for daytime rehearsals, and be willing to partake in our Western Canadian tour. Accommodations will be provided for out of town performances. Compensation will be provided to cast and crew of the tour.

Initial Performance Dates: October 20-22, 2017 and October 26-31, 2017. More to be announced.

Synopsis:

It is present day, and your typical Canadian punk, Jimmy “Spider” McKuen, stumbles upon an old (haunted) mansion. There he meets none other than the Prince of Denmark himself, Hamlet. Enthralled in the classic tale he is reminded of from his brief school days, he follows Hamlet, Ophelia, and the rest of Shakespeare’s characters so far as to start talking in iambic pentameter! Haunted House Hamlet is designed so that audience members can structure their own experience of viewing it.
