Torchlight Theatre in Airdrie is seeking an emerging or established Stage Manager for a mystery production. You will collaborate closely with the director during rehearsals, ensuring clear communication among producer, director, and cast.

The role covers cueing, safety, and maintaining artistic intent throughout rehearsals and performances. Rehearsals begin in early September with evenings and weekends, including tech week and the run of the show.

Job (Airdrie/Calgary): Stage Manager – Torchlight Theatre

Torchlight Theatre is looking for an emerging or established Stage Manager for their upcoming mystery production. Season announcement coming August 21st.

AVAILABLE POSITION: Stage Manager
Torchlight is seeking an individual to work closely with the director throughout the rehearsal process/ They will be responsible for communicating information between the producer, the director and the cast of the show, mediating a variety of needs. During the run of show, the Stage Manager is there to run the performance and to maintain the director’s vision.

COMMITMENT
Rehearsals will begin in early September and run on evenings and weekends. Candidates must be available for tech week and the run of the show. (November 17th to 30th, 2019).

COMPENSATION:
An honorarium is paid for this position.
