Job description

Overview

Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is the internal staffing agency for the Johns Hopkins Health System and partner hospitals, providing temporary support to a variety of Johns Hopkins locations. Compensation: $70/hr for 13-week assignment

Responsibilities
  1. Facilitating and coordinating care by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Health System.
  2. Providing direction to/management of other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.
  3. Working collaboratively with, and providing leadership for, a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that support quality, safety, and excellence in care.
  4. Participating in promoting improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, operational) that support, protect, and promote areas of specialty.
  5. Implementing initiatives in the area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership.
  6. Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence.
Qualifications
  1. Shift: Mon-Friday 6-2:30 pm
  2. On Call: Call required after hours and weekends, including 14 days of calls per month which includes every other weekend (Saturday, Sunday) with a 30 min response to hospital.
  3. No floating, 1 major holiday.
  4. Required: 1 year Cardiac Scrub experience, BLS.
  5. OR Circulating Experience Required.
  6. Experience with Pediatric CVOR and Adult CVOR; pediatric OR experience preferred.
