Job description

Job Title : Workshop Assistant – Jewelry Studio

We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and flexible Workshop Assistant to support us with various day-to-day operations in our jewelry studio located in Bedford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a creative environment, engaging with customers, and contributing to a growing local business.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist with customer service in-store and on the phone.
  • Willing and ready to learn how to work with jewelry-related CNC machine (training will be provided).
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Help with inventory management and order processing.
  • Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions and receipts.
  • Support packaging and shipping of online orders.
  • Assist with photographing products and posting on social media.
  • Perform various errands and general workshop duties as required.

Requirements :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms. (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of POS systems and retail operations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sales and persuasive skills are an asset.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to learn and take on varied tasks.
