Job description

Eastern Trenchless Ltd. is Atlantic Canada’s leader in trenchless construction. Instead of digging up roads or yards, we use advanced tools and methods to repair underground sewer and storm pipes with as little disruption as possible. We work with municipalities, industries, and homeowners to provide pipe cleaning, inspection, and repair solutions—without the mess of traditional digging.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a full-time Jet Rodder Operator to join our team. You’ll help clean and maintain sewer and storm water systems using a specialized vacuum truck. We provide on-the-job training and support as needed. If you like hands-on work, enjoy working outside, and want to be part of a growing company that’s doing things differently, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate a vacuum / jet truck to clean pipes, catch basins, and other underground systems.
  • Help inspect sewer and storm pipes before and after cleaning.
  • Assist with pipeline camera inspections.
  • Work as part of a team at different job sites, often outdoors and in all weather.
  • Set up safety signs and equipment at work areas.
  • Perform basic truck and equipment checks.
  • Support crew members with various tasks.
  • Keep tools and equipment clean and in good shape.
  • Communicate clearly and provide great customer service on site.

What We’re Looking For

  • Willingness to work outdoors and do hands-on work.
  • Comfortable lifting 30–50 lbs and doing physical tasks.
  • A strong focus on safety and teamwork.
  • Class 3 driver’s license (or willing to get one) and a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Previous plumbing, electrical, or construction experience is a bonus—but not required.
  • Safety training or certifications are an asset.
  • Work with innovative technology in a growing field.
  • Opportunities to learn new skills and grow in your career.
  • Competitive pay (based on your experience).
  • Be part of a team that’s improving communities without the need for major disruption.
