  • Design and develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Define REST APIs and event-driven interactions between services.
  • Enforce architectural standards and best practices.
  • Review and guide development teams through complex technical decisions.
  • Design and deploy microservices on AKS.
  • Support blue/green and canary releases.
  • Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD and production readiness.

We require a Java Technical Architect with extensive hands‑on experience leading and implementing monolithic to microservices migrations. The role involves architecture ownership, hands‑on development, event‑driven design using Kafka, deployments on AKS, and strong expertise in database table mappings and data migration strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define target microservices architecture and migration roadmap from monolithic systems
  • Lead domain decomposition, service boundary definition, and API/event design
  • Apply migration patterns such as strangler fig and phased cut‑over strategies
  • Ensure scalability, resiliency, security, and performance of the target architecture
  • Design and develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot
  • Define REST APIs and event‑driven interactions between services
  • Enforce architectural standards, coding best practices, and design patterns
  • Review and guide development teams through complex technical decisions
  • Design and deploy microservices on AKS
  • Support deployment strategies such as blue/green and canary releases
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD enablement and production readiness
Kafka & Event Streaming
  • Design and implement Kafka‑based event streaming solutions
  • Define topics, partitions, consumer groups, and message schemas
  • Ensure reliable event processing, idempotency, and error handling
  • Support event‑driven integration between legacy and modernized systems
Data Modeling & Migration
  • Lead database design, table‑to‑entity mapping, and schema evolution
  • Define and execute data migration strategies from monolithic databases to microservices
  • Manage data ownership, synchronization, reconciliation, and rollback strategiesEnsure data integrity, performance, and auditability during migration
Governance & Collaboration
  • Work closely with DevOps, QA, security, and infrastructure teams
  • Align architecture with client’s enterprise standards and practices
  • Document architecture decisions, migration approaches, and operational guidelines
  • Mentor senior engineers and provide technical leadership across teams
Required Skills
  • Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
  • Proven hands‑on experience with monolith to microservices migration
  • Experience deploying and operating services on AKS
  • Strong knowledge of Kafka and event‑driven architectures
  • Deep understanding of relational databases, table mappings, and data migration
  • Experience working in large‑scale enterprise or telecom environments
