Infosys is seeking a Java Springboot Microservices Angular Developer in Mississauga, Ontario, to interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across the SDLC, including requirements elicitation, architecture definition and design.

The role delivers high-quality code for modules, leads validation across testing, and supports implementation, transition and warranty. Candidates should have 2+ years IT experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Job Role

Infosys is seeking a Java Springboot Microservices Angular Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts; deliver high-quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Java hands on development.
• Hands-on experience in Java 8, REST, Springboot, Microservices , Angular, Kafka or MQ, OpenShift deployments.
• Experience in Java 8, REST, Springboot, Microservices, Kafka or MQ, OpenShift deployments, Spring Security, JPA, XML, XSLT, JAXB, JAXP, MVC, various design patterns.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, and/or Test-Driven Development environment.
• Experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance/Production Support projects.
• In-depth knowledge about modern application architecture, practical experience with Microservices.
• Framework like Spring Boot, Event Driven Services ,
• Cloud Native Applications Development.
• Good knowledge of API design is a must.
• Some experience with DevOps practices such as Pipelines, CI / CD tools are required.
• Knowledge of Domain Driven design is must.
• A high degree of initiative and flexibility, high customer orientation.
• Excellent analytical skills, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:

Ontario: $ 72,783 to $ 105,007.
