Infosys is seeking a Technology Lead who will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, solution design, application development, testing, implementation, and production support. The ideal candidate will contribute to architecture and design discussions, create high-level design artifacts, deliver high-quality solutions, and provide technical guidance to development teams. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment. The candidate will also help drive innovation, modernization initiatives, and engineering best practices while ensuring successful delivery of business-critical applications.

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Toronto, Ontario OR Calgary, Alberta or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in software application development and support.

• Strong hands‑on experience with Java (11+/17+), Spring Boot, Microservices, ReactJS, and Oracle Databases.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and enterprise-scale distributed applications.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in application architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• At least 4 years of hands‑on experience with Spring Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• At least 4 years of experience working with SQL, PL/SQL, database design, performance tuning, and optimization.
• At least 4 years of experience building cloud-native and API‑first applications in enterprise environments.
• At least 4 years of experience designing and implementing microservices‑based and distributed system architectures.
• Experience leveraging AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, and ChatGPT to improve development productivity and code quality.
• Experience participating in technical design discussions and collaborating with cross‑functional teams in Agile environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:

Ontario: $ 92,740 to $ 123,375.
