Looking for a Software Engineer to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

Role

• Build complex web applications using frameworks such as Ruby, React, GraphQL, and Postgres.
• Design features where the business problem is defined but the technical strategy is not.
• Follow and establish best practices for clean code and architecture.
• Deploy and operate applications in the cloud (Amazon, Rackspace, Heroku, etc.).
• Ensure code adheres to the design and maintains high coding standards.
• Maintain solutions that are sufficiently generic, simple, and economical.

All About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Proficiency in writing secure code in Java; knowledge of Scala and SQL is a plus.
• Experience implementing scalable and resilient microservices architectures, including containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of data storage, processing systems, and web service APIs.
• Familiarity with REST, GraphQL, SSO, and client/server interactions.
• Understanding of scaling techniques such as caching and asynchronous/background job queues.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience building scalable and highly available production web applications, from frontend to database.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent relationship-building and organizational abilities.
• High-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working under pressure independently.
