This position is at Software Engineering III level, at the Director level, responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs.

What You’ll Do In The Role
  • Collaborate effectively with PMO, Development, Product Management, Business, Technical Operations, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, Networks, and Architecture teams.
  • Design and develop middle layer services using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, and/or C#/.NET.
  • Draft and review architectural diagrams, specifications, business requirements, and design documents.
  • Work with our existing technology stack (Java, C++, Linux, Unix, Open-Source Platforms, SOA) and adopt new technologies for our next-generation solutions.
  • Gain a robust understanding of financial products, services, processes, and organizational structure to find optimal solutions.
  • Mentor other software developers.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Express.js, Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Kafka, and ActiveMQ.
  • Proficiency in software development principles, including design patterns, code structure, programming languages, continuous integration, and deployment.
  • Experience with Java server technologies like J2EE and servlets.
  • Experience with tools like Tomcat and Maven used for Java development.
  • Hands-on experience in API/Web Services development using protocols such as REST, SOAP, and JSON.
  • Proficiency with at least one database system (Oracle, DB2, Sybase, etc.).
  • Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and methodologies.
  • Good understanding of Web Services protocols such as REST, SOAP, JSON, and API design for extensibility and portability.
