Client Service Manager || Managed Service Provider (MSP) Services | Client Services & Delivery

Java Server Side Developer to join a major initiative with Morgan Stanley in Montreal. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, and backend architecture. You’ll work in a fast-paced Agile environment, helping to deliver scalable and performant enterprise applications.

Local candidates preferred. Non-local candidates must be open to attending in-person interviews.

Day 1 onsite is mandatory.

Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain Java-based components using Spring Boot for enterprise-level applications.
• Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to deliver quality code aligned with business needs.
• Drive performance optimization and integration of DevOps practices.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code that adheres to engineering best practices.
• Take initiative in identifying and solving technical challenges, clarifying requirements, and improving system design.

Required Skills & Experience :

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java (Collections, GC, Threads, Java Streams, Reflections API, etc.)
• 5+ years with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST APIs, and JSON.
• Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, JIRA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to Have :

• Kafka or other event-streaming platforms.
• Experience with cloud migration or hybrid architecture.
