Infosys is seeking a Java Microservices and Spring Boot Developer. In the role of Technology Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our Java applications. You will interface with key stakeholders, leveraging your deep technical expertise across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This includes requirements elicitation, application architecture definition, design, and high-level design creation. You will also contribute high-quality code for assigned modules, lead validation efforts for all testing phases, and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.

Required Qualifications :

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga / Toronto, Ontario, or be willing to relocate. Travel may be required.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Consideration will also be given to candidates with three years of progressive experience in the field in lieu of every year of education.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on Java and Angular.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying robust web applications.
• Authorized to work in Canada without employer-sponsored visa; no immigration sponsorship available for this role.

Preferred Qualifications :

• At least 6 years of experience in full-stack web development.
• At least 5 years of experience with Java Spring Boot.
• At least 5 years of experience with front-end development using Angular 11 or above.
• Experience with project lifecycle activities on development projects.
• Experience with automation and performance testing is a plus.
• Ability to work in a diverse, multi-stakeholder team environment.
• Experience in the Telecom domain.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
• Deep knowledge of back-end development using Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Hibernate, JPA, and J2EE principles.
• Expertise in front-end development using Angular 11 or above, with experience in other versions considered.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming concepts like RxJS.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less).
• Proven ability to build responsive web applications for desktop and mobile devices.
• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies (CI/CD pipelines, containerization) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
• A passion for building user-centric, high-quality web applications.

The role involves extended periods of sitting and working at a computer, with communication via telephone, email, or face-to-face. Extensive travel may be required based on client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation for candidates based in Ontario ranges from $89,004 to $115,491.
