Priceline.com LLC in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a Java Full-Stack Developer to join our hybrid team. You will build backend Java services, React front-ends, and APIs, contributing to high-traffic, low-latency systems in a travel-focused environment.

You will work in a cross-functional agile team, implement GraphQL data querying, cloud deployments (GCP/AWS), and CI/CD automation, while mentoring others and advocating code quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering and development experience.
• Strong Core Java programming experience.
• Comfort with Spring Frameworks, Web Services and APIs.
• Front-end development with JavaScript/React and GraphQL familiarity.
• Experience with AI coding tools is a plus (Claude or Cursor).
• Thorough SQL composition skills for data queries.
• Git/Gitflow usage in team environments.
• Experience with Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, and Cloud (GCP/AWS).

Responsibilities

• Participate in critical projects with direct impact on Priceline's business.
• Contribute to a cross-functional agile team delivering on product objectives.
• Showcase development skills in Core Java programming.
• Build dynamic, user-facing features with React/JavaScript and GraphQL APIs.
• Develop low latency and high-throughput transactional services with CI and automated tests.
• Implement SQL queries for real-time data analysis from applications.
• Understand codebase, systems, and business requirements for changes.
