Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced Java Full Stack Developers for opportunit ies across the Greater Toronto Area. The role focuses on Java backend development with modern front-end technologies, in collaborative Agile teams building scalable enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate has strong Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and modern front-end skills (React/Angular/TypeScript). Hybrid work with on-site GTA presence is offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and related technologies.
• Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive and user-friendly web applications using modern front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases and write efficient SQL queries.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and other developers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
• Work within Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD, cloud, and DevOps initiatives where applicable.
