We are currently seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This position is 100% onsite.

Job Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and APIs or microservices architecture.
2. Utilize Java/JEE, Spring/Spring Boot, Angular, RESTful services, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
3. Work with front-end frameworks and web technologies including TypeScript, web components, Node.js, or Angular.
4. Develop enterprise digital applications following MVC design pattern, micro front-end strategies, and open microservice architectures.
5. Implement DevSecOps practices using tools like Jenkins, Git/GitHub.
6. Manage container and cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, ensuring secure application development.
7. Apply version control management using various Git workflows.
8. Follow secure coding standards and best practices.
9. Lead and collaborate within team environments, fostering learning and mentoring.

Basic Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing web applications.
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
