Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Java application developer with a solid software technology background and the capacity to develop and support robust, secure, multi-platform financial applications. The role involves contributing to the build-out of additional products on the External Trade Matching (Global Clearance) and Primary Dealer Reporting Platform. The successful candidate will be a proficient developer with good communication skills, capable of working in a global team and an agile environment.

Primary Skills / Must Have

• Strong in Core Java, Object-Oriented concepts
• Experience with Spring framework, Cucumber testing framework
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs & JSON
• Good knowledge of relational databases (SQL, JDBC), stored procedures
• Experience with code repository tools (GitHub, Bitbucket), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Containerized deployments (Kubernetes, PodMan), Cloud deployment
• Scripting languages (Python, Shell scripts)
• Good time management skills to prioritize and multi-task effectively
• Strong desire to understand and learn domain specifics

Secondary Skills / Desired Skills

• Experience in financial services/banking, especially in Wealth Management
• Knowledge of Snowflake, Azure AKS deployment
• Experience with AngularJS, TypeScript

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the SDLC (analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation)
• Work independently with minimal oversight
• Analyze business requirements and write functional and minor development specifications
• Develop solutions that meet business needs promptly and accurately

Skillset

• 3+ years of experience in Core Java
• Experience with Spring framework, REST/SOAP services
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, test-driven development

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
