Job summary

Sapsol Technologies Inc. in Mississauga, Ontario is seeking a skilled backend engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable services using Core Java and Spring Boot. You will work in a microservices-based architecture, develop RESTful APIs, and collaborate with frontend, DevOps and product teams to deliver robust solutions.

Applicants should be proficient with SQL/NoSQL databases, data structures and Git. Cloud and containerization experience, plus exposure to CI/CD pipelines, are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Core Java and Spring Boot

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Core Java
• Hands‑on expertise in Spring Boot
• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Solid understanding of REST API development
• Experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Understanding of security best practices (OAuth, JWT)
