Position Details:

1. Number of Positions Available: 1
2. Position Type(s): Full-Time
3. Position Duration: Permanent
4. Seasonal Staff Accommodation: No
5. Wage Range: $20-23/hr Hourly

Job Overview Responsibilities:

1. Assembling new bikes
2. Identifying faults, damage and wear
3. Carrying out minor repairs (e.g., fixing punctures)
4. Repairing and/or replacing damaged or worn-out components
5. Wheel truing (straightening bike wheels so that they are properly aligned)
6. Fitting accessories (lights, pannier racks or cycle computers)
7. Carrying out routine services and safety checks
8. Cleaning, degreasing and lubricating bicycles and components
9. Advising customers regarding work, which is required, and whether this is essential or recommended
10. Estimating costs (labour and parts) and providing customer quotes
11. Booking in work
12. Dealing with customer queries and offering product or general cycling advice
13. Liason with suppliers and dealers
