Job summary

Canadian Utilities Limited, part of ATCO, has a 4-month co-op/internship opening in Edmonton. You will support procurement operations and logistics, assist with spend reporting and inventory management, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet purchasing needs.

The role requires enrollment in an undergraduate co-op program, strong Microsoft Office skills, and clear written/verbal communication. Relocation assistance is provided for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate co-op (or internship) program at a recognized Canadian university.
• Have Excellent computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Be able to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and concisely, using appropriate technical vocabulary.

Responsibilities

• Support the purchase request intake process and assist with procurement workflows.
• Support spend reporting and data analysis activities to identify trends and opportunities.
• Maintain procurement records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support sourcing and purchasing requirements.
• Assist with supply chain reporting, process improvement initiatives, and data management activities.
• Support materials management activities, including inventory tracking and reconciliation.
• Monitor inventory levels and help identify replenishment requirements.
• Assist with reporting and analysis related to inventory performance and material utilization.
• Support process improvements that enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Support management of the product data hub to ensure inventory catalogue accuracy and consistency.
• Work with supply chain team members to ensure materials are available to meet business requirements.
