Job Description

Summary

Oversee janitorial staff as well as clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met.

Schedule Hours

Tuesday - Friday 1:30pm to 10:00pm and Saturday 9:00am to 5:30pm

Job Duties

  • Lead and coordinate the work of the janitorial staff in the building
  • General cleaning of building, keeping it maintained and in good condition
  • Empty wastebaskets and take other trash to disposal areas
  • Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
  • Sanitize restrooms and fill dispensers.
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Spot clean glass partitions, window blinds, and mirrors.
  • Dust furniture, walls, woodwork, window sills, equipment, and other assigned areas.
  • Mix cleaning solutions according to specifications.
  • Use floor cleaning equipment as needed (i.e., buffer, walk-behind, spot-carpet cleaner).
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
  • Keep cleaning supplies in stock
  • Perform other duties and tasks assigned by supervision

Requirements

  • Must have janitorial experience
  • Must be able to work beyond regular hours when needed
  • Must be of good energy, and able to accomplish multiple tasks quickly
  • Must be able to perform detailed communication with employees, management, and client.
  • Must be able to work safely in a clean room manufacturing environment, utilizing safety glasses, clean room suits, and understanding the danger of acids and bases

Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.
