Job summary

First Onsite Property Restoration in Montreal, QC is seeking a part-time Janitor to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming facilities for employees, clients, and visitors. You’ll start by checking schedules, preparing supplies, and then sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing high-traffic areas.

You’ll manage waste, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues promptly, with flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, janitorial, or environmental services.
• Experience with commercial cleaning products and equipment preferred.
• Proficient with mobile devices and basic computer applications including MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and quality consistency.
• Interpersonal and customer service skills with a professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record as required.
• Fit testing and safety certifications.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as schedule requires.
• Ability to perform material handling and use PPE including respirators and safety footwear.

Responsibilities

You'll manage waste removal, restock supplies, and promptly report any maintenance issues you notice. You'll also lend support to other departments, such as contents or HVAC, when needed. Your consistency, reliability, and pride in your work will ensure everyone who walks through the door experiences a clean, professional, and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant cleaning, janitorial, or environmental experience
• Experience using commercial cleaning products and equipment, preferred
• Proficient in using mobile devices and basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain consistency and quality in all tasks
• Solid interpersonal and customer service skills with a positive, professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract, as required
• Fit test and other safety certifications
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Ability to complete work activities that may involve material handling, lifting, and the use of personal protective equipment including respirators, safety footwear, and other required gear
