Good Shepherd Centres is seeking a dedicated Janitor for their Men's Centre. The ideal candidate will enhance the dignity and quality of life by maintaining a clean environment, delivering services with compassion, and embodying the organization’s values. This role involves teamwork, flexibility, and a commitment to fostering a supportive atmosphere that reflects the mission of Good Shepherd.
Hours of work: Work schedule will be from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including weekend shifts as well as coverage for holidays and sick leave.

This position is with our Good Shepherd Centre's- MEN'S CENTRE
Reporting to the Manager of Janitorial Department/Director, the Janitor enhances the dignity and quality of life of our clients , visitors and staff through the implementation and direct delivery o all programs/services.
Availability, Flexibility, Adaptability and Hospitality is aided by a welcoming environment as evidenced by the provision of clean and dignified living, visiting and working areas. In meeting this objective, the janitor performs their duties in accordance with a schedule of tasks, as well as those tasks required in response to the daily needs and circumstances of the Centre.
Through responsible leadership and effective role modelling, the Janitor is responsible for the demonstration of the Mission, Vision and Values at work within the Good Shepherd Centre.
