Janitor/Maintenance Professional

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are clean, well-maintained, and safe for all employees and visitors. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute significantly to the overall environment of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing various areas within the facility.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs and ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Regularly clean all areas such as shops, kitchens, offices, washrooms, and lobby areas.
• Stock coffee bar areas
• Manage inventories for cleaning supplies, paper goods and coffee bar items
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts in accordance with company policies.
• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and address any facility-related issues promptly.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing all cleaning and maintenance duties.

Skills

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and management effectively.

Schedule:

• Sunday to Wednesday
• Hours: 10:00-6:30

Experience:

• Cleaning: 2 years (preferred)
• Janitorial: 2 years (preferred)

Language:

• English (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
