WE PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION (shuttle service to and from the site, only out of Saskatoon or Prince Albert), MEALS, AND ACCOMMODATION AT THE SITE.

***The job is located at our Foran Mine site operation in northern Saskatchewan, 85 km west of Flin Flon, MB.

***SHIFT WORK IS REQUIRED; WORK SCHEDULES ARE 2-WEEK IN-AND-OUT ROTATIONS.

Reporting to the janitorial manager, this position is responsible for janitorial duties at remote northern sites, such as mining facilities and exploration camps. Duties must be completed in accordance with contract standards and specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors.
• Dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, and area rugs.
• Clean and sanitize all areas as assigned.
• Collect garbage.
• Clean assigned areas, including office complexes and other buildings.
• Follow ACLP policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Shift work at remote sites — mining facilities & exploration camps.
• The work schedules are 2-week in-and-out rotations.
• You must be a team player, who works well with others.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast, thorough, efficient manner with attention to detail.
• Grade 10 would be an asset.
• One year of janitorial experience is preferred and would be an asset.
• A suitable combination of education & experience will also be considered.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid recognized first aid certificate.
• Ability to perform janitorial duties safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to hazardous products, including WHMIS.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Physically capable of performing the duties.
