Position Overview :

Tamata is recruiting a dedicated and reliable Remote Camp Janitor for our esteemed client. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of camp facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all staff.

Primary Job Responsibilities :

1. Conduct inventory of all cleaning supplies and paper products related to office, showers, and toilet facilities; report levels to the Lead Housekeeper or Camp Manager.
2. Perform daily cleaning tasks following established safe work practices and procedures.
3. Report all incidents and accidents immediately.
4. Maintain good housekeeping practices in all work areas.
5. Participate in daily Toolbox meetings and complete daily logs and hazard assessments as required.
6. Clean and sanitize all common or assigned toilet and shower facilities.
7. Sweep and mop floors in toilet, shower, and common areas as assigned.
8. Manage waste and recycling programs as assigned.
9. Wash, dry, and replace bed linens as required or assigned.
10. Dispose of garbage properly, ensuring waste receptacles are cleaned and sanitized daily.
11. Fog rooms upon departure or as assigned.
12. Clean common spaces such as the TV room, dining room, laundry room, and recreation room as assigned.
13. Support the First Cook with kitchen cleaning duties as required.
14. Assist with receiving, unloading, and packing groceries as assigned.
15. Deep clean and sanitize industrial or commercial kitchen equipment, including preventative maintenance.
16. Vacuum or polish floors and hallways as assigned.
17. Polish and clean tables, chairs, and fixtures as assigned.
18. Assist with kitchen cleaning duties, including washing dishes, pots, and pans, as required by the First Cook or Executive Chef.
19. Perform any other duties related to the role.
