About the Indigenous Zero Waste Technical Advisory Group (IZWTAG)

IZWTAG is proud to be an Indigenous run, non-profit society dedicated to protecting the environment and improving waste management within every First Nation community. Scope of Work

The Project Manager, will coordinate, manage, and facilitate the implementation, management, and administration of approximately 2 million in grants. They will also be working with IZWTAG Staff while also supporting the Executive Director.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Writing Proposal’s/Grant funding application that aligns with IZWTAG’s scope and mandate.
• Developing and tracking Project budgets & Project Schedules.
• Liaising with Clients
• Ensure reporting and accountability requirements of grants/proposals are met.
• Working with ISC representatives

Qualifications

As an indigenous-led organization, IZWTAG aims to recruit First Nations personnel. Additionally, the role is for someone who has:
• Demonstrated experience working with First Nation communities.
• Proven capability to work independently.
• 2 to 5 years writing grants and/or proposals.
• Strong knowledge of Recycling, Composting, Infrastructure/ACRS reports and/or ISC policies and programs.

Work Hours

IZWTAG operates on a Monday to Thursday, Flexible schedule. This position will have flexible working hours, which may lead into a full-time position.

Compensation

Willing to negotiate as per your experience and/or education.
