A career in our External Audit Process Assurance practice, within Process Assurance services, will enable you to assist clients in optimising control activities, organisational strategy, and policies and procedures. You’ll conduct transaction testing, perform readiness assessments, and leverage various technical Information Technology controls (e.g., databases, operating systems, data warehouses, reporting tools) to help our clients achieve operational efficiency. Our team helps organisations navigate complex reporting environments by improving internal controls and increasing confidence in the quality of information produced by their internal systems. We focus on designing, documenting, and operating controls around financial reporting processes, including financial business processes and IT management controls.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As an ITGC Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a problem-solving team, helping to address complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing risk assurance services, including assessment of technology risks using control frameworks (COSO, COBIT, SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)
  • Participating in audits of technology controls, business process controls, internal audits focusing on IT, Service Organization Control audits, and general IT security projects
  • Supporting Managers and Senior Managers in project planning based on risk and control assessments, in compliance with PwC standards
  • Providing coaching to team members, delegating tasks, reviewing work, and consolidating results for reporting
  • Consulting with clients on operational controls and process improvements
  • Executing audit work efficiently within deadlines and budgets
  • Documenting concise audit evidence and validating its relevance and quality
  • Maintaining collaborative relationships internally and externally
  • Monitoring external IT trends such as remote access, authentication, threat assessments, cloud computing, etc., and acquiring related knowledge
  • Participating in developing timelines and budgets
Experiences And Skills You’ll Use To Solve
  • CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, CIA, CGAP, CISA, CISM, or CISSP certifications
  • Hands-on experience in IT audits and risk assessments
  • Skills in documenting processes, developing testing programs, and providing improvement recommendations
  • Ability to manage full-cycle risk assessments and audit processes
  • Proven success in reviewing business and IT controls, enterprise risk, and SOC reporting
  • Experience with ITGC, cybersecurity, SOX, SOC, and ISO 27001 engagements
  • Understanding of ERP environments and controls
  • Ability to prioritize, monitor project delivery, and resolve issues
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Exposure to data analytics and visualization tools

The salary range* for this position is $83,000 - $95,000, plus potential annual bonuses. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
