Job summary

Alberta Blue Cross is seeking a Visual Communication Designer in its IT division to turn complex IT initiatives into engaging stories using visuals, video, and digital storytelling. You’ll craft dashboards, reports, and campaigns that drive awareness and adoption across the organization.

You will collaborate with IT leaders, project teams and business stakeholders to evolve how technology, data and AI-enabled content are communicated. A strong portfolio of internal communications is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Interactive Media, Marketing, Technical Communications or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience creating visual communications, multimedia content, information design, digital storytelling, or digital communications solutio

Responsibilities

• Create compelling visual communications, including infographics, presentations, dashboards, reports, one-pagers, digital campaigns, and interactive content.
• Develop videos, animations, motion graphics, visual explainers and other multimedia assets for a variety of audiences and channels.
• Translate complex technical concepts into engaging stories and visual experiences that improve understanding and engagement.
• Support IT leadership communications, technology launches, strategic initiatives, change management efforts, and employee engagement campaigns.
• Create content for SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, intranet sites, town halls, and other digital channels.
