Job summary

Alberta Blue Cross is seeking a talented Graphic Designer for a 6-month temporary opportunity in Edmonton. You will elevate our visual design, strengthen brand presence, and craft stories across print, web, social, and video.

The role requires a post-secondary graphic design credential and 3–5 years of experience with a diverse portfolio. Hybrid work, a downtown Edmonton office, and flexible benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in graphic design, visual communications, or related field.
• 3-5 years of design experience, ideally within brand, marketing, advertising agency or in-house creative teams.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• A diverse portfolio demonstrating a passion for your work. Experience across multiple media preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design creative concepts and multi-platform visual design across campaigns and initiatives.
• Create and enhance sophisticated visual assets, including illustrations, graphics, page layouts.
• Translate complex ideas, messages and data into clear, engaging and visually compelling communication.
• Manage multiple, deadline-driven projects while maintaining brand consistency and craft.
