Job description

This leader in Industrial Product Manufacturing located in Quebec City is looking for an IT Technician - Support and Maintenance.

Additional information :

  • Contract
  • Start date : February 2024
  • Hours : 37.5h/week, 5 days in office
  • Technology equipment provided
Responsibilities
  1. Manage IT assets
  2. Configure, network, back-up, and debug production machines
  3. Configure, install, and debug printers
  4. Configure employee computers (initial setup, administrator access)
  5. Assist users directly with various technical issues
  6. Manage and track employee computer requests
  7. Perform minor repairs on computers (e.g., memory changes)
  8. Install software on employee workstations and servers
  9. Collaborate with the programming team to resolve issues and develop functionalities
  10. Participate in the implementation of 'ABC IT' requests (in-house, global management)
  11. Write processes and procedures for configuration and installation of software/machines
  12. Research and consult in knowledge databases for information and procedures
Qualifications
  1. Possess a DEP, AEC, DEC, or equivalent diploma in the field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  3. Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
