Education Requirements

ED1. Graduation from a two-year program of study from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.

Experience Requirements
  • EX1. Experience providing IM/IT guidance to end users in a workplace or educational setting (internships will be considered).
  • EX2. Experience installing and providing technical support of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10 or Windows 11) in a workplace or educational setting (internships will be considered).
  • IM/IT refers to Information Management and Information Technology.

AB1. Ability to solve problems related to basic IT operations

Optional Experience (for later assessment)
  • AEX1. Experience working or volunteering in a mixed civilian and military environment.
  • AEX2. Experience in providing IM/IT technical support in a Helpdesk or Desktop Support role.
  • AEX3. Experience administering Active Directory.
  • AEX4. Experience in configuring and managing networks within at least one of the following cloud environments: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
