Job description

• Provide technical support to end-users regarding network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and network equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, diagnose issues and implement solutions promptly.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of local area networks (LANs), including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
• Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.
• Install and organize cables, including Ethernet and power cables, to ensure neat and efficient cable management.
• Install and configure patch panel, Faceplate, and floor box to facilitate the organization and management of network connections.
• Configure and maintain security cameras and Network Video Recorders (NVRs) for surveillance purposes.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:

• Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field
• Proven experience as an IT Technician or relevant position
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication ability
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
• In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
